NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. These general rules apply to promotions sponsored by ÈCLATAN unless separate promotion-specific rules are supplied. If specific rules conflict with this page, the specific rules control.
1. ELIGIBILITY: Each promotion is open only to individuals who satisfy the age, residency and other eligibility requirements stated in the applicable promotion announcement. Employees, officers and directors of ÈCLATAN, its affiliates, agencies and suppliers involved in the promotion—and members of their immediate households—may not enter unless expressly permitted. Promotions are void where prohibited or restricted by law.
2. AGREEMENT TO THE RULES: By entering, each participant agrees to these rules, any promotion-specific rules, and ÈCLATAN’s decisions concerning administration of the promotion. Those decisions are final to the extent permitted by applicable law.
3. PROMOTION PERIOD: The opening and closing dates, times and applicable time zone will be stated in the promotion announcement. ÈCLATAN’s systems are the official timekeeping method unless the announcement states otherwise.
4. HOW TO ENTER: Follow the entry method described in the promotion announcement. Entries must be complete, accurate, submitted during the promotion period and received through an approved entry channel. Automated, duplicated, late, incomplete, corrupted or fraudulent entries may be disqualified. Entry limits stated in the announcement apply to each person and household.
5. FREE METHOD OF ENTRY: No purchase is required. When a promotion includes an entry method connected with a purchase, the announcement will also describe an alternative free method of entry that provides an equal opportunity to win.
6. WINNER SELECTION AND VERIFICATION: Potential winners will be selected using the method stated in the promotion announcement and remain subject to verification. A potential winner may be required to provide proof of eligibility and complete declarations, releases or tax documentation permitted by law. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible or does not respond within the stated period, ÈCLATAN may select an alternate winner.
7. PRIZES AND ODDS: The prize description, quantity, approximate retail value and odds of winning will be stated in the applicable announcement. Odds depend on the number of eligible entries received. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash unless required by law. ÈCLATAN may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable. Winners are responsible for taxes and costs not expressly included with the prize.
8. PUBLICITY: Where permitted by law, accepting a prize may authorize ÈCLATAN to use the winner’s name, city or region, likeness and prize information for reasonable promotional purposes without additional compensation. Any required consent will be obtained separately where applicable.
9. CONDUCT AND DISQUALIFICATION: Participants must not interfere with a promotion, use deceptive entry methods, impersonate another person or violate applicable law. ÈCLATAN may disqualify entries associated with tampering, abuse, fraud or conduct that compromises the fairness or integrity of the promotion.
10. RELEASE AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: To the extent permitted by law, participants release ÈCLATAN and the promotion’s participating partners from claims arising from participation or the acceptance, possession or use of a prize, except for liability that cannot legally be excluded. ÈCLATAN is not responsible for interrupted networks, transmission errors, inaccessible platforms, incorrect entry information or events outside its reasonable control.
11. MODIFICATION OR CANCELLATION: If fraud, technical failure, force majeure, legal restrictions or another event compromises a promotion, ÈCLATAN may suspend, modify or cancel it and may select winners from eligible entries received before the disruption, where lawful.
12. PRIVACY: Information submitted in connection with a promotion will be handled in accordance with the ÈCLATAN Privacy Policy and used to administer the promotion, verify eligibility, deliver prizes and satisfy legal obligations.
13. GOVERNING TERMS: Each promotion is governed by the laws and dispute-resolution provisions identified in its promotion-specific rules. If none are supplied, mandatory consumer-protection and promotion laws applicable to the participant and sponsor continue to apply.
14. SPONSOR AND QUESTIONS: Unless the promotion announcement identifies another sponsor, the sponsor is ÈCLATAN. Questions about a promotion may be submitted through the Contact page.
